MVC Digital Manufacturing Partners is an investment fund focused on digital transformation of light global physical goods manufacturing in the low capex industries.
Various manufacturing industries still operate under an inefficient 30 to a 50 year old business models and legacy global manufacturing and supply chains are being transformed via the new digital transformation and make and buy local distributed manufacturing platforms. As a part of our efforts we are expecting to create new high paying design / manufacturing jobs and to transform metro economies into “edgeaunomies”.
We are developing ‘New Collar’ owner-operator entrepreneur manufacturing ecosystems and jobs with digital fabrication global competency centers supported by a proprietary shared services support and IT backbone.
We are investing into new phygital platform as well as into brands (including supplemental) ready and able to embrace these new platforms and to transform to meet the needs of the new economy and to generate significantly better returns on investment than the current manufacturing allows. We also invest into supplemental deals existing manufacturers and high end imports for transitional industry disruption phase as our portfolio companies scale.
As a part of our multi fund partnership strategy, we expect a strong synergy with our real estate fund for a phygital business model.
Our fund is focused on being a triple bottom line investment, embracing Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance responsibility, supporting the creation of numerous new jobs and opportunities in the “New Collar” workforce while offering vocational digital fabrication education and training, and taking waste prevention, and our global environmental, social and corporate governance responsibility seriously.
Our management team has a significant amount of experience in distributed manufacturing, and investing into and building numerous companies that have become leaders in the global supply chain.
